Join us for an action-packed weekend at The Adult Tennis Academy at the University of Washington! This 10-hour tennis clinic, held at UW's premier tennis facility in Seattle, is designed to help adult players improve their game in a fun and supportive environment. This Pacific Northwest tennis camp combines technical instruction, drilling from a top-notch coaching staff, and supervised match play.
Camp Director Ross Duncan and his expert coaching staff are dedicated to helping players develop essential tennis skills, refine their technique, and improve their point-play strategies. Whether focusing on fundamentals or advanced tactics, participants will receive personalized attention and a comprehensive training experience, ensuring they leave the weekend with valuable skills to elevate their game.

Camp Director Ross Duncan
Ross Duncan is in his thirteenth year as camp director at Nike Tennis Camps. He was the #1 ranked junior player in South Africa. Duncan coached on the professional WTA tour (pro level), at the University of Oregon, and is currently developing juniors in Southern California. He is a also a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional.

Director Piers Foley
Piers finished his tennis career with an ITF World Ranking of 2101. He played #2 singles & #1 doubles for the University of Washington with the highest doubles ITA college ranking of #15. Prior to University, he was a National Doubles Champion under 12s and 18s and was Top 10 in the country from 12 -18 while holding the number one title under 16s. He has been ranked Top 350 in ITF Juniors with multiple titles. Piers has coached tennis for 5 years with experience in every age & every level. He has coached many national juniors & a couple of international players on tour.

CAMP PROGRAM INFORMATION
- Camp Type(s) Offered: 3 Day Camp (Friday 5:00pm-7:00pm, Saturday 9:30am-5:00pm, & Sunday 9:30am-12:00pm)
- Gender: Coed
- Age Range: 18+
- Skill Level: Beginner & Intermediate
SKILL LEVELS & GROUP PLACEMENT
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. Participants are then sorted by ability first, then age per the Camp Director's discretion - adjustments are made as needed during camp.
While there are many ways to define skill levels, the following descriptions are what the Camp Directors at Nike Tennis Camps will use to organize and group camp participants. At the time of registration, please choose the level that best represents your experience:
Beginner: Players who are new to the game and have little to no formal instruction. They are focused on learning the fundamentals and the basic rules of tennis. Typically play for recreation and have very little or no match-play experience. USTA rating of 2.0 or lower, or no rating.
Intermediate: Players who can serve and maintain rallies with some consistency. They are fairly reliable with medium-paced shots but may struggle with certain strokes and lack precision in directional control and power. Generally play recreationally at their local club. USTA rating of 3.0.
CAMP SCHEDULE
- Check-in: Friday between 4:30-5:00pm at the tennis courts
- Check-out: Sunday at 12:00pm
DAILY SCHEDULE
- Friday: 5:00pm-7:00pm
- Saturday: 9:30am-12:00pm & 2:00pm-5:00pm
- Sunday: 9:30am-12:00pm
EQUIPMENT, FACILITY & MORE
- Equipment Needed: All campers must bring a tennis racquet, tennis shoes, and a water bottle
- Facility: UW Tennis Center's outdoor tennis courts (Graves Hall Location, South Tennis Courts).
- Inclement Weather Plan: Coaches will communicate any changes in plans with campers directly
- Medical Protocol: In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancellations made at least 7 days before the camp start date will result in a camp voucher for the full amount of tuition paid, valid through the following calendar year. This voucher is transferable to any family member and can be used for any sport.
- Cash refunds will only be issued if Cancellation Protection was purchased at the time of registration.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the camp start date will receive a camp voucher for 50% of the tuition
- No-shows (individuals who do not attend their registered session) will forfeit the full tuition payment.

ACCOMMODATIONS & TRAVEL
- This is a Day Camp only; housing is NOT included in the camp tuition. Campers are responsible for arranging their own overnight accommodations if needed.
- US Sports Camps, the Camp Director, camp staff, and the host facility are not liable for any travel-related arrangements, including but not limited to flights, hotels, Airbnbs, or rental cars.
- We recommend booking refundable or flexible travel and accommodation options in case of any changes to the camp schedule.
