The 2019 tennis camp at Stony Brook University is an all-skills camp for youth tennis players in New York.
This day only program offers tennis players in Stony Brook a great opportunity to learn and have fun over summer with the coaches from Stony Brook University.

Camp Director Gary Glassman
Six-time America East Coach of the Year Gary Glassman is in his 20th year and has led Stony Brook every year since the school joined Division I in 1999.View Gary's Bio ⟩
Glassman has entrenched Seawolves tennis as not only one of the top programs in the America East but one of the top programs in the Northeast Region.
More than 60 players have earned All-Conference honors, including four different America East Players and Rookies of the Year.
Since 2012, the women's team has dominated America East play, winning four straight conference championships and earning four straight bids to the NCAA Tournament.
Glassman led the women's team to their first America East championship in program history. The Seawolves knocked off 18-time defending champion Boston University in the semifinals before beating No. 2 UMBC in the final to advance to its first NCAA tournament in 2012.
Glassman and his staff earned Coaching Staff of the Year honors and junior Nini Lagvilava was named America East Player of the Year.

We offer this tennis camp as a full day program from 9:00am-4:00pm each day. Lunch is included for all campers.
2019 Camp Dates
- July 8-12 (Monday-Friday)
Full Day Camp: 9:00am-4:00pm (Lunch is included for all campers)
Mornings consist of drilling, point play, conditioning and off court fun. Afternoons will focus on match play and other fun competitive games.
All sessions are open to players of all abilities. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.
All Skills Program
The All Skills program is designed for tennis players of any skill level and background and includes concentrated work to develop the proper fundamentals and a mix of drilling and match play.
Monday-Friday: Drop off is at 8:30-8:45am for all campers at the University Tennis Courts. Campers should come dressed to play as wel will get right into training.
Monday-Friday: Daily check out is at 4:00pm for all campers at the University Tennis Courts.
Campers will play at the 12-court outdoor tennis courts at the University Tennis Courts.
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring.
Men's and Women's Tennis complex has a total of 12 tennis courts, including 6 brand new Deco Turf II tennis courts that are US Open blue and green. Six courts will be utilized for camp.
