Tennis Tip: The Importance of Nutrition and Hydration
A very important issue and one of the most important things for young athletes is NUTRITION. Learning how to eat properly while at camp and how to keep hydrated are critical for the child’s best performance while training.
At Nike Tennis/Mt. Holyoke, we take NUTRITION very seriously! During our orientation and before meals we advise and remind campers of the importance of proper NUTRITION and how to balance their meals. The best part is the incredible cafeteria service MT. Holyoke provides.
The kids have many different healthy and delicious options while at camp, including various ethnic options, sandwich stations, an amazing salad bar and of course, great desserts!
Mt. Holyoke food is always “Farm to Table” and the college takes advantage of the many local farms producing fresh fruits and vegetables. The food service is compared to quality restaurants! The college is also capable of providing for special meal needs including allergy concerns, religious restrictions and certain dietary requests.
