For general questions about our Sport Performance camps please see our FAQ page.

The Camp will be conducted in three sessions.

Session One - Skill Development Drills

We will teach a series of drills in a systematic sequence designed to reinforce proper frontside mechanic drill progression and provide error correction, which will turn an athlete’s weaknesses into strengths, improve skill, and increase performance by teaching strengthening exercises to enhance muscle groups considered the prime movers responsible for the actual execution of Frontside Mechanics and Speed Development.

Session Two - Lunch and Optimal Start Position & Acceleration Via the Blocks

The primary focus of this session is to teach beginning and advanced athletes the Optimal Start Positions necessary for Acceleration via the blocks. Efficient block clearance and Acceleration are crucial to the success of sprinting for track and field athletes who Sprint and Hurdle.

Thus, this session will provide a detailed overview of how to use the blocks in such a way as to set up your Acceleration in the sprints or to the first hurdle. We will provide information on all the Acceleration components related to block use.

Session Three - Individual or Team Sport Training

Track & Field athletes will receive an advanced Acceleration, Speed, and Power instructional model. Team Sports athletes will receive further instruction on Acceleration, Deceleration, Top-End Speed, Change of Direction, Developing and Improving the Rate of Force Production, and components of Multi-Directional Movement to increase performance.
