Camp Director Megan Lenhart
Coach Lenhart has been at the helm of the Davenport Volleyball program for the past eight seasons. Her teams have amassed a record of 163-76 during the course of her tenure. 2017 was the program's first season in NCAA Division II competition. The team put together a 9-7 record during their first year in the GLIAC and earned the No. 7 seed in the GLIAC Tourament. They finished the regular season winning four out of their last five matches, including three in five sets. The panthers also swept Grand Valley State during the season.View Megan Lenhart's Bio ⟩
Lenhart's 2014 squad set a school record with 36 wins and a bid to the NAIA National Tournament - Final Site for the first time in program history, as well as the WHAC regular season and tournament championships.
In 2013, Lenhart went over the 100 win milestone with a victory over Point Park (Pa.). She's had three players earn NAIA All-American awards and four players be recognized as NAIA Scholar Athletes.
One year after graduating from Cornerstone, Lenhart began her collegiate coaching career as an assistant at Taylor University under head coach Brittany Smith. Megan was part of a coaching staff for the Trojans that took them from just over a .500 record in her first season to eventual MCC Champions in 2007 as they ended with an overall record of 32-11.
Since leaving Taylor, Megan moved back to Michigan where she has since continued her role as Club Director at FaR Out Volleyball Club. Under her direction at FaR Out, the club won the state's first ever National Championship in AAU volleyball and has taken many teams to the National Tournament.

Feels more prepared for the upcoming season!
July 17, 2017: I had two daughters attend. They both enjoyed the rotation of getting to know the coaches and having the individual skill sessions. They both felt they received good instructions on how to improve in the sport now they just have to keep practicing! Thanks coach Lenhart and staff for doing a such a great job. My oldest daughter is pumped and feels prepared for the upcoming volleyball season!

July 22, 2016: Nike Volleyball Camps was an amazing experience to have as a young volleyball player. Everyone did an amazing job at the camps. And it wasn't all work, there was alot of fun happening too. With the dress up days and tournaments, it was a blast. I also made a couple good friends while at camp as well. Even the coaches. The coaches at camp were very helpful and made sure evryone was getting the guidence they needed. I left not only with a great experience, but with more friends, and better abilities than I came to camp with.

Loved the camp
July 15, 2016: I signed my 12 year old daughter up for this camp while she was in Grand Rapids for the summer. She didn't know anyone and immediately fell into rhythm with the coaches and other campers. She loved the drills that they did. When I Picked her up 4 days later I could not believe how much her serving and setting skills had improved. She loved the rigor of the camp and also enjoyed the social activities. It was a great experience for her to live in a dorm and feel independence. We will be returning next year.

July 29, 2015: My daughter attended the summer 2015 VB camp at Davenport University. It's a top notch camp run by top notch coaches and players. The head coach met each family at registration and was present during the whole camp. My daughter learned so much during the week and cannot wait to return to Nike/Davenport next summer.

Daughter loved it
July 25, 2015: My child came home every night excited about volleyball and more importantly felt great as a person as she was treated with care and guidance from the staff. Her only regret is not staying the night in order to be a part of the full experience of the camp. She was determined to do well because she wanted to and not because she had to. This is a direct compliment to the volleyball staff's direction, expectations, and relationship with the campers. Well done!

Ready for tryouts
July 20, 2015: I've sent my daughter to the Nike Volleyball Camp for the past two summers at Davenport (MI). She loves going, being able to spend the night, hang out with friends and most of all learn volleyball skills. Even staying in the dorms and having to be responsible for all that is a good life lesson. She's ready for tryouts in a few weeks!
— Theresa D. Parent
Great all around experience
My daughter loved camp! She's been to others but thought this was the best so far. Small campus was nice. Air conditioning in all gyms and dorms was great. Staff and coaches were wonderful! She loved the food and no lines for lunch!
— Parent '14
More than just drills
They had great conditioning. The tournament at the end was awesome! And I loved how the head coached stressed the importance of the mental side of the game. I always wear the bracelet they gave me. I also have food allergies and the cafeteria was amazing.

Prepare for school tryouts
My daughter went to this camp without any friends and had never attended camp. She made new friends on the first day and absolutely loved this camp. She learned so much. She just made the freshmen volleyball team at her new high school. This camp helped her prepare for tryouts. Thank you!

Helped boost confidence
My daughter was very hesitant at first to join. It took a while for us to convince her that she can do this and that this will help her a lot. We're glad that she agreed with us. Surprise...surprise...she had a blast! She can't stop talking about it. She wanted to sign up now for next summer's camp. The camp definitely helped improve her skills. But most importantly, the camp helped boost her confidence.

Will be back next year!
My daughter attended this camp after only 2 years of volleyball. While she was no where near the top in terms of skill, her deveopment was incredible. More importantly, she had so much fun that she is already making plans for next year.
— Parent '13
Great Overall Experience
My daughter attended the camp as a beginner in volleyball and without a friend with her. The staff made her feel comfortable right away. We loved the idea of the suite with a couple of "ready made" friends. They suites were assigned so she did not have to try and pair up with someone immediately. My daughter said the instruction was excellent, games were fun,the water balloon attack was a highlight. As parents we loved the tournament at the end of the week. We were very impressed and hope that Nike brings the camp back to Davenport next summer!
Improve Your Skills and Meet New Friends
Nike Volleyball Camp at Davenport was great. I improved my volleyball skills and met a lot of good friends that I want to connect with again next year at camp. I can't wait for next summer.
Fun AND Challenging
Nike volleyball camp was a very fun and positive experience. The camp did an excellent job assessing skills and individualizing instruction. If you like a ton of volleyball, a lot of hard work and loads of fun then this is the place for you!
Get one-on-one coaching
I was a camper at davenport for volleyball and it was awesome! I had gone there last year and all the changes were great. I loved how we were separated by skills. I also liked that we got some one on one with the coaches and if I had a question it would be answered easily. I would go to this camp in a heartbeat!
Great for first time campers!
This camp was my first camp ever and I’m glad I chose this one to start with! It was hard work and fun! Plus the food and dorms are sooo cool!
Taught me new techniques
This camp taught me so much. The coaches certainly know what they're doing and are very patient. They're always trying to make us better.
