at Nike Volleyball Camps

Join us for a fun and active volleyball camp at Avenues The World School in New York City! Open to boys and girls ages 10–17, this camp is a great way for players to spend time on the court, learn new skills, and enjoy the game in a positive, supportive setting.

Campers will work with experienced coaches through a mix of drills, games, and team play. Whether trying something new or continuing to build on existing skills, athletes can expect a high-energy camp experience filled with learning, movement, and plenty of volleyball fun.

    • 12 years of playing experience, including 5 years at Virginia Tech while completing her undergrad and master's degrees.
    • 10+ years of coaching experience including individual training, camps nationwide with Nike US sports Camps, Virginia Tech Volleyball, and We Play for SRK camps.
    • Currently Directs and oversees 30+ Nike Volleyball Camps throughout the year at 10+ locations around the country and virtually oversees the success of basketball camps as well. You can see her influence in camps in New York, NY; Brooklyn, NY San Antonio, TX; Austin, TX; Houston, TX; New Jersey, NJ; Dallas, TX and more.
    • Stacey’s favorite part about working camps is getting to see the excitement on a camper's face when they finally “Get it!” while learning a new skill or mastering one they already knew. She works toward inspiring, motivating, included and energizing each camper/ athlete she comes across.
    • Two fun facts about Stacey are that she’s been 6’2” since she was in the 9th grade and that she recovered from 2 ACL injuries during her collegiate volleyball career.

    Their camps are specially designed to groom the beginner and grow their skill set; to take an intermediate player’s game and get them on the path to becoming an advanced player; and to take an advanced player and sharpen their skills so that they dominate on the court.

    Ultimate Champions was founded by National Nike Sports Camp Director Terrence Jones. Headquartered in San Antonio, TX, Ultimate Champions hosts Nike Volleyball Camps over spring, summer, and winter break throughout Texas, New York City, New Jersey, Colorado, Nebraska, & Louisiana. Their vision is to help players enhance skill development, athleticism, explosiveness, and overall game through positive and challenging instruction.

Camp schedules and details are subject to change. If important updates occur before camp begins, we’ll notify registered campers by email and update this webpage. Campers may be grouped by age, skill, or experience at the Director’s discretion.

JUNE 29-JULY 2: ALL SKILLS
  • Open To: All Genders, Ages 10-17
  • Daily Hours: 9:00am-4:00pm
  • Check-in: Between 8:30am-9:00am
  • Check-out: The closing ceremony will take place at 3:30pm on Day 4 (Thursday), parents are welcome to join! Check-out will take place immediately after at 4:00 pm
  • Lunch: Lunch is not provided, please bring a sack lunch to camp each day. No food or drinks will be available for purchase.
  • Program: Geared towards girls of all skill levels. Campers will master the fundamentals and develop proper mechanics through a mix of drills, games and competitive play.
JULY 3 | JULY 10 | AUGUST 14: SERVING & PASSING
  • Open To: All Genders, Ages 9-17
  • Daily Hours: 9:00am-12:00pm
  • Check-in: Between 8:30am-9:00am
  • Lunch: Lunch is not provided.
  • Program: Designed to focus solely on ball control and serve/serve receive. Learn how to get your opponents out of system from behind the service line and become a consistent passer in serve receive. This program is open to players of all abilities and positions. Campers will learn how to improve their technique through drill work, challenging games, demonstrations, and maximum repetitions.
JULY 6-9: INDIVIDUAL SKILLS
  • Open To: All Genders, Ages 10-17
  • Daily Hours: 9:00am-4:00pm
  • Check-in: Between 8:30am-9:00am
  • Check-out: The closing ceremony will take place at 3:30pm on Day 4 (Thursday), parents are welcome to join! Check-out will take place immediately after at 4:00 pm
  • Lunch: Lunch is not provided, please bring a sack lunch to camp each day. No food or drinks will be available for purchase.
  • Program: This All Skills program is geared towards girls of all skill levels. Campers will master the fundamentals and develop proper mechanics through a mix of drills, games and competitive play. In addition, each week will have an extra emphasis that builds upon the week before. The Individual Skills program is focused on the introduction and explanation of volleyball terminology and techniques per skill. Campers will experience small group coaching, demonstrations, and feedback through step-by-step drills, high repetitions, and fun gameplay.
JULY 13-16: TEAM SKILLS
  • Open To: All Genders, Ages 10-17
  • Daily Hours: 9:00am-4:00pm
  • Check-in: Between 8:30am-9:00am
  • Check-out: The closing ceremony will take place at 3:30pm on Day 4 (Thursday), parents are welcome to join! Check-out will take place immediately after at 4:00 pm
  • Lunch: Lunch is not provided, please bring a lunch to camp each day.
  • Program: This All Skills program is geared towards girls of all skill levels. Campers will master the fundamentals and develop proper mechanics through a mix of drills, games and competitive play. This Team Skills program begins with a review of Individual Skills before campers begin working on team skills. Players will have a high number of touches and repetition of skill application through drills and games. Campers will also receive an introduction into fast-paced gameplay, team concepts, and higher-level systems.
JULY 17: SETTER & HITTER
  • Open To: All Genders, Ages 10-17
  • Daily Hours: 9:00am-12:00pm
  • Check-in: Between 8:30am-9:00am
  • Lunch: Lunch is not provided.
  • Program: Designed to focus on the basic fundamentals of setting and hitting. The hitting portion of the clinic will focus on mastering their approach, footwork and arm swing. The setting portion of the clinic will focus on mastering hand positioning, follow-through, footwork, and decision making. Hitters and setters will be combined for maximum repetition, drills, and live game play. Recommended for players of all abilities.
AUGUST 10-13: MAKING THE TEAM
  • Open To: All Genders, Ages 10-17
  • Daily Hours: 9:00am-4:00pm
  • Check-in: Between 8:30am-9:00am
  • Check-out: The closing ceremony will take place at 3:30pm on Day 4 (Thursday), parents are welcome to join! Check-out will take place immediately after at 4:00 pm

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Daily volleyball training
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
  • Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Volleyball Camps t-shirt and prizes. *1-day clinics excluded.
  • Volleyballs: Volleyballs are provided for instruction during camp. Campers may purchase a Camp Volleyball at the time of registration, which will be given out on the last day of camp. Fun tip: Have your camp friends sign your ball before you leave!
  • Facility: Indoor, air-conditioned courts
  • Medical Protocol: Most camps will have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
  • Transportation: Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNTS

If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $45 discount. Discounts are not available for camps priced at $250 or less. Please fill out the Team Discount - Volleyball form and we will create a unique discount code for your group.

Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

FAQ

  • Absolutely! Campers are encouraged to attend multiple sessions. Each program delivers something unique to help players excel in all areas of the game. Many campers will attend more than one session to further refine their skills, compete against new players, or choose a session with a different program focus.

  • If you need to cancel for any reason up until 24 hours prior to camp check-in, you will receive a camp credit voucher for tuition fees paid that is good through the following year for any sport and is transferable to any immediate family member. Participants who DO NOT attend their registered session (no-shows for any reason) or who do not contact USSC to cancel at least 24 hours prior to camp check-in will not receive a voucher or refund.

  • Yes! To save your spot at camp, a deposit is due at registration:

    • $150 for Day and Half Day camps
    • $300 for Overnight and Extended Day camps
    • Camps under $150 must be paid in full at registration.

    Your remaining balance is due on the 1st of the month before your camp begins:

    • June camps → due May 1
    • July camps → due June 1
    • August camps → due July 1

    Any camper with an unpaid balance 10 days before camp will forfeit all fees paid and be removed from the camp.
