Meg Grose was named the head volleyball coach at New Mexico Highlands University on December 11th, 2023.

She recorded her career first win at New Mexico Highlands on September 13th, 2024, in a 3-1 over Sul Ross State. Her first RMAC win came against Adams State in a 3-2 thriller on September 20, 2024.

Grose returned to New Mexico Highlands after spending the 2023 season as the head coach at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. In her lone season at the helm at Lawrence, her team posted its best conference record since the 2019 season. Under her guidance one of her players garnered Midwest Conference Player of the Week recognition for the first time since the 2019 season. She earned her first victory at the collegiate level on September 8, 2023 when her Vikings defeated Alverno College 3-0 in Milwaukee.

From 2020-2022 Grose was the assistant coach at New Mexico Highlands where she was the team’s offensive coordinator and primary setters coach. Additionally she assisted in the recruiting efforts for the Cowgirls. Former NMHU setter Soleil Gandara eclipsed the 2,000 career assist mark while working with Grose.

Prior to her time at New Mexico Highlands, Grose was a graduate assistant coach at Southern Arkansas University, an NCAA Division II school in the Great American Conference. She served on the coaching staff of the Muleriders for the 2018 and 2019 seasons while working on an advanced degree. Grose graduated from Southern Arkansas with a Master's degree in special education in May 2020.

Grose was a standout college and prep player prior to joining the coaching ranks. She was a four-year starting setter for Peru State College, a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics institution in Nebraska. A two-time team captain for the Bobcats, she ranks in the top 10 in program history in both career assists and service aces. A two-time NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athlete, Grose graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education.

A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Grose was a standout setter for Peoria (AZ) High School where she earned all-state, all-section and all-district honors during her prep career.

"I am thrilled for the opportunity to come back to Las Vegas and lead the volleyball program," said Grose. "There is a great group of young women on this team and I look forward to working with them."

SCHOLARSHIPS

We cannot offer scholarships due to NCAA regulations. Our affiliation with NCAA coaches and schools puts us in a position where any scholarship money can be seen as an inducement to a future collegiate athlete. This puts our coaches and our host universities in jeopardy of damaging their status with the NCAA and incurring penalties at the hands of their organizing body.

Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.
