Join us this summer at Sofive Lake Nona in Florida for an exciting volleyball camp! Led by Nike Camp Director Victor Lopes, this camp is perfect for girls ages 10-15 and boys ages 10-14. Campers will refine their skills through drills, position-specific training, and game-like practice to build technique and confidence.

    Victor Lopes holds a Master’s degree in Kinesiology from University of Maryland and has extensive experience in volleyball coaching and athlete development. He worked at the Brazilian Olympic Committee and served as assistant coach for two-time Olympic medalists Adriana Behar and Shelda (2001). In 2024, he contributed as a volleyball coach at the IMG Academy Summer Camp.His expertise combines cutting-edge training methodologies with a deep understanding of sports performance, ensuring a high-quality and transformative experience for young athletes at the Summer Camp.

    Adriana Behar is a prominent figure in Brazilian sports, celebrated for her exceptional achievements both as an athlete and a sports executive. As a beach volleyball player, she secured two Olympic silver medals and multiple world titles.

    Following her retirement in 2008, Adriana transitioned into leadership roles, becoming Brazil's sole representative on the International Olympic Committee's Women's Commission in 2012 and later presiding over the Women in Sport Commission of the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB). She also played a key role in Brazil’s Olympic delegations, serving as the Team Brazil leader at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

    In 2021, she made history as the first woman to assume the position of CEO of the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV), where she has been instrumental in promoting modernization and transparency within the organization. She also became the first woman to serve as Chef de Mission for the Brazilian Olympic Committeeduring the Youth Olympic Games, further cementing her legacy as a trailblazer in sports leadership.

    Her global impact was recognized in 2017 when she was named one of the BBC's 100 Women, an acknowledgment of her contributions to sports development and gender equality.

    We are honored to have Adriana Behar as the Technical Director of our upcoming Summer Camp, where her unparalleled experience and leadership will inspire and guide our participants.

CAMP OPTIONS

Please note: Camp schedules and details may be subject to change. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff and placed into groups based on age and ability level.

ALL SKILLS CAMP
  • Dates: June 23-27
  • Daily Hours: 9:00am-3:00pm Days 1-4, 9:00am-12:00pm Day 5
  • Check-in: 8:15am on Day 1
  • Check-Out: 12:00pm on Day 5
  • Lunch: Lunch is not provided, please bring a snack or sack lunch each day.
  • Program: The All Skills program offers high-energy training focused on fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Athletes will build a solid foundation and boost confidence in a positive, energetic environment.
POSITION SPECIALTY CLINICS
  • Serving Clinic: June 23 & June 26
  • Passing Clinic: June 24
  • Hitting Clinic: June 25
  • Setting Clinic: June 26
  • Daily Hours: 3:30pm-5:00pm
  • Check-in: 3:00pm
  • Meals: Meals are not provided.
  • Program: The Position Specialty program is geared towards players wanting to hone their skills in a specific position. Campers can choose to attend the Serving Clinic, Passing Clinic, Hitting Clinic, and/or Setting Clinic to receive specialized training on the latest techniques.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Morning and afternoon training sessions
  • Lunch: Lunch is not provided, please bring a snack or sack lunch each day.
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
  • Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Volleyball Camps t-shirt and prizes. *1-day clinics excluded.
  • Volleyballs: Volleyballs are provided for instruction during camp. Campers may purchase a Camp Volleyball at the time of registration, which will be given out on the last day of camp. Fun tip: Have your camp friends sign your ball before you leave!

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director’s discretion.
  • Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own kneepads and have at least one pair of well-broken-in volleyball (court) shoes. Campers do not need to bring their own ball.
  • Facility: Indoor Courts
  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

  • Athletic, on-court clothing (t-shirts, shorts)
  • Indoor volleyball shoes, well broken-in
  • Outdoor athletic shoes

  • Small gym bag/backpack

  • Signed Health & Release forms and waivers (forms completed online do not need to be printed and turned in at camp)

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNTS

If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $45 discount. Discounts are not available for camps priced at $250 or less. Please fill out the Team Discount - Volleyball form and we will create a unique discount code for your group.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
