Camp Director
Jodie Holava
Holava’s .571 winning percentage is the best by any coach in program history, and the team has been even more impressive under her guidance against conference opponents, boasting a .667 winning percentage.
Read Full BioThe Yellow Jackets have won three conference championships in six years during Holava’s tenure, and finished among the top-three in the final standings in four out of six years. Even during a relatively disappointing 2010 campaign, when the Jackets finished just below .500, marking Holava’s second only season without a winning record, the team managed to tally four National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America Scholar-Athletes, four Academic All-HCAC selections, three HCAC Players of the Week, and five All-HCAC performers.
Holava joined the DC family in 2006, after spending the 2004-2005 softball season at Notre Dame College of Ohio as an assistant softball coach. With her help, the Falcons finished the season 23-17, marking the best record in school history. They finished 10-4 in the American Mideast Conference and reached the Region IX Tournament for the first time in school history
Prior to her stint at Notre Dame College of Ohio, Holava coached the Northcoast Spirit, a traveling softball team sanctioned by the National Softball Association. The Spirit went to the NSA World Series each year with Holava as their coach.

I hope to go back every year
"The camp was very well-planned out and had a good program. The times to wakeup eat and play were reasonable and the instructors knew exactly what they were doing and taught the campers in an easy-to-understand way. I hope to go back every year!"

Thanks for another great experience
"The director and her staff were very positive and seemed to make all the girls love to play. This is our second time doing the camp and I would do it again. Thanks for another great experience and great memories."

Honest Assessment of my skills
"I've been playing competitive travel softball for five years now yet I felt the coaches at this camp helped me improve my game in many ways. They showed me where I needed improvement and were very honest in their assessments of my skills. They recommended coaches to help me continue to improve after the camp - and I really appreciate that."
