Get ready for an unforgettable week of baseball at the Nike Baseball Camp at Merced College, part of Merced College’s “College for Kids” Summer 2026 programming in partnership with the Community Education Department. This exciting camp experience is designed to help young athletes build skills, gain confidence, and have fun on the field in a positive and energetic learning environment.
Led by Merced College Head Baseball Coach Jason Ingraham and the Blue Devils coaching staff, campers will receive high-level instruction from experienced collegiate coaches who are passionate about teaching the game the right way. Whether your athlete is just beginning their baseball journey or looking to sharpen their skills, this camp provides a strong foundation for growth and development.
Throughout the week, campers will focus on all aspects of the game, including hitting mechanics, pitching fundamentals, defensive techniques, and overall athletic movement. In addition to skill instruction, coaches will emphasize game knowledge, situational awareness, and baseball IQ—helping players better understand the “why” behind each play and decision on the field.
Each day will include a blend of skill development stations, position-specific instruction, and competitive drills. Campers will also participate in fun games and competitions designed to reinforce fundamentals while creating an exciting and engaging camp atmosphere.
