at Nike Baseball Camps

The Nike Baseball Camps at St. Ignatius College Preparatory are sure to be a Bay Area favorite this summer. Camp Director, Brian Pollzzie, will lead two weeks of summer camp hosted at Fairmont Field.

The camps will focus on all aspects of the game from individual position work, situation drills, hitting stations, and simulated games! Campers are sure to make new friends and have a memorable experience this summer!

    The St. Ignatius Athletic Department is excited to announce Brian Pollzzie (pronounced Po-lit-zee) as the new head varsity coach for the St. Ignatius Baseball Program.

    Brian was the head baseball coach the past seven years at The Branson School in Ross, California. In that time, he led the program to 2 CIF North Coast Championships in 2015 and 2018. Additional baseball jobs include coaching at the Dominican Baseball Camp in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic, training and managing with the Treasure Island Pirates, instructing at the Junior Dons Baseball Academy, and assistant baseball coach at International High School and the Urban School in San Francisco.

    Brian lives in San Francisco and currently works as a videographer, creating videos for high school students to facilitate the college recruiting process. Previous clients include Wolfgang’s Vault, Dwell Magazine, the San Francisco 49ers and the Oakland Athletics. He has also provided footage for HBO, NFL Films, and Fox Sports.

    Brian was a 3-year varsity starter and all-State selection as a senior at Sparta High School (NJ). He played college baseball at George Washington University & San Jose State University, graduating in 2000 from GW with a BA in Communication.

    We welcome Brian Pollzzie as the 21st head coach of the SI Baseball Program.

Camp Details

Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, fielding, base-running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

2026 SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION

  • Dates: June 15-18, 2026 | June 29-July 2, 2026 | July 13-17, 2026
  • Age Group: Rising 4th-8th Graders
  • Camp Type: Half Day Camp & Day Camp
  • Schedule: Half Days 9:00am-12:00pm | 1:00pm-4:00pm & Day Camp 9:00am-4:00pm
  • Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to the camp start time.
  • Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a snack/lunch to camp each day.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Daily Baseball Instruction
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours
  • Nike Baseball Camp T-Shirt and potentially other prizes!

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio

  • Groupings: Campers are initially grouped by age and moved around accordingly based on skill level.

  • Facility: Outdoor Fields.

  • Location: All campers check in at Fairmont Field: 290 Edgewood Drive. Pacifica, California 94044

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRAVEL

Nike Baseball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT

If you have a group of campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during checkout. *Discount amount varies by program. Please call for details.

Fairmont Field

Fairmont Field

Fairmont Field is multisport synthetic turf complex which supports baseball, softball, field hockey, and soccer. Each ballfield has dugouts, bullpens and batting cages. There is a parking lot, portable restrooms and seating for spectators. All lines are sewn in for maximum visibility for the players, coaches, spectators and officials.
