Alana Cesarz

Alana Cesarz enters her second year as the JV Women's Basketball Coach at Wilmot Union High School in 2019-20. Prior to this, she worked with UW-Parkside women's basketball in 2017-18 as an assistant coach.
The Delavan, Wis. native is known around the Southeast Wisconsin area for hosting the Southeast Elite Basketball Camp. She also spent three summers working with USA Basketball in Las Vegas, Nev.
Cesarz spent one year at Western Illinois as a volunteer where she helped the team on the court and off while studying sport psychology and working as a teacher's assistant. During her one year stint, the Leathernecks won the Summit League and made a trip to the NCAA Tournament.
Before her time at Western Illinois, Cesarz spent one year in Portugal playing professionally for Boa Biagem where she averaged over 20.0 points and 8.0 rebounds a game.
Cesarz graduated from UNLV with a degree in Kinesiology in 2015. She played four seasons with the Lady Rebels where she left the program top-15 on the all-time scoring list. She was named First Team All-Mountain West after her senior season and Honorable Mention All-Mountain West after her junior year coming off ACL surgery.
Cesarz has five siblings, all brothers, one of which is a linebacker for the Wisconsin football team.
