Coach Alex Megson brings an exceptional blend of professional experience, passion for player development, and love for the game to the soccer field. With a 16-season professional career, Alex understands what it takes to help young athletes make the most of their abilities.
Alex enjoyed a highly successful professional career, appearing in 176 games and recording 123 goals and 58 assists while playing for top clubs across the country, including the Tacoma Stars, Milwaukee Wave, Missouri Comets, Dallas Sidekicks, and Rochester Lancers. He competed at the international level with both the U.S. National Indoor Team and the U.S. National Futsal Team, earning a World Cup Silver Medal and representing the USA in matches overseas.
A league champion and MASL record‑holder for the fastest hat trick in league history, Alex now brings that same energy and competitive mindset into his coaching. Known for his positive approach and ability to connect with players, he focuses on strong fundamentals, confidence, teamwork, and most importantly, helping kids enjoy the game and grow as players and people.
