Amber Dorsey
Camp Coach
Amber is actively involved in the growth of women’s flag football. They are currently an Assistant Coach for PD Powerhouse Girls Flag Football and the Owner of the Prime Time Women’s Flag Football Team. Their passion lies in mentoring athletes, developing programs, and empowering women through sport, leadership, and service.
In addition to football, she has over two decades of coaching experience. Amber has coached at the AAU, high school, collegiate, and semi-professional levels. Their coaching career includes serving as an assistant coach for the Georgetown University Women’s Basketball Team, Head AAU Coach of the Fairfax Stars, and multiple assistant coaching roles at the high school level. Since 2016, they have served as the Head Coach of the Bethel High School Girls Basketball program.
Amber is an accomplished coach and licensed clinical social worker with an extensive background in athletics, leadership, and social work. They hold a BA in Sociology, a Master’s degree in Social Work, and a PhD in Social Work, and are a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
