Audrey Goldsberry

Audrey Goldsberry is the Women's Head Volleyball Coach at Southeastern University.

Audrey Goldsberry begins her tenth season as head coach of the Fire in 2024 after serving as an assistant during the 2013 season.

As the interim head coach during the 2014 season, the Fire finished 17-13, hosting a first-round Sun Conference Tournament game as the #3 seed.

The 2015 season was historic as the Fire entered The Sun Conference Tournament as the #3 seed, upsetting #2 seed St. Thomas in the semifinal, then shocked top-seeded Warner in four sets, which was undefeated in conference play, earning the program's first conference title.

Goldsberry guided the Fire to three consecutive 20-win seasons and appearances in the TSC Semifinals (2017,18,19).

In the 2020 season, Goldsberry and the Fire posted a 4-12 record before a 21-14 season in 2021. Freshman Sandy Cao became the Fire's first NAIA All-American in 2021 after earning NAIA Honorable Mention as well as the title of Southeast Region Freshman of the Year, SUN Freshman of the Year, and SUN Player of the Year.

In 2022, the Fire went 14-13 with a 9-5 SUN record, concluding their season in the SUN Tournament Semifinals.

Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Goldsberry attended Southeastern University from 2002–2007. She was a member of the Fire volleyball team from 2002–2005 and was named an NCCAA All-Region Player in 2003 and team captain in 2004. She was also a member of the 2004 NCCAA Final Four team.

She graduated with a BS in middle grades mathematics in 2007 and has been teaching math at the middle grades level for the last seven years. Her coaching experience includes middle school, high school, club, and collegiate. Her favorite verse is Romans 12:12: “Rejoice in hope. Be patient in tribulation. Be constant in prayer.”
