Brian Lalley - Cleveland Program Director
Brian Lalley is going into his fifth year as the program director for Xcelerate Lacrosse. Prior to joining Xcelerate Lacrosse, he spent four years with the Canisius College men's lacrosse team, serving as the team's offensive and recruiting coordinator.
During his time with Canisius, Lalley helped three players earn four All-MAAC selections. He guided Simon Giourmetakis to first-team all-conference accolades in 2011 and 2012, becoming just the fourth player in the program’s history to garner first-team honors on two occasions. In addition, midfielder Tim Edwards collected 2012 MAAC Rookie of the Year accolades to go along with second-team all-conference honors.
Prior to joining the Canisius coaching staff in 2009, Lalley played four seasons at Ohio State. He was also a two-year starter at Orchard Park High School in the Buffalo area, earning All-America, first-team All-Western New York and first-team All-ECIC honors.
A three-time Academic All-Big Ten Selection, Lalley graduated from Ohio State with his bachelor’s degree in consumer affairs with a minor in business and a concentration in coaching. He earned his master’s in sport administration from Canisius in 2011 and a master’s in physical education in 2013.
