Bryan Gathright

Bryan Gathright will serve as Camp Director at Nike Junior Golf Camps. Gathright has been a teaching professional since 1987 and his experience in golf covers more than 45 years. Bryan is known as one of golf’s most respected teachers, one of Golf Magazine’s Lifetime Top 100 Teachers. He has been classified as one of the Top Teachers in Texas by both Golf Digest and Texas Monthly.

Gathright was selected the 1997, 2000, and 2020 Southern Texas PGA Teacher of the Year. He has helped some of the best in the game. Bryan has coached 6 players who have gained their PGA Tour Cards under his guidance. Pupils include four-time PGA Tour winner Notah Begay III, five-time LPGA winner and U.S. Amateur and U.S. Junior Amateur Champion Dorothy Delasin. He also taught former Nationwide Tour Player of the Year, six-time PGA winner, 2014 Ryder Cup Team Member, 2015 Presidents Cup Team Member and winner of the 2016 PGA Major Championship Jimmy Walker. Bryan is especially proud of 2024 PGA Tour Member, Mac Meissner, a pupil of Gathright's since the 8th grade. During the almost 40 years as a tour, the now Korn Ferry Tour has had 9 players shoot 59-- of those 9, Gathright has coached 2 of them, Mac Meissner in 2023 and Notah Begay in 1998.

Gathright has coached over 350 high school golfers who have gone on to play at 84 different four year universities.
