Bree Hammel

Bree Hammel is a former UNLV standout and current club coach.
Bree Hammel attended Bonanza High School and played at University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) for 4 years. She is a versatile athlete and competed for the Rebels as an outside hitter, middle blocker, and right side hitter. During her senior year, Bree led her team to the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament, which was the furthest finish in UNLV history. She's a two-time AVCA Division I All-Pacific South team member, three-time Mountain West Conference All-Academic team member, and three-time Mountain West All-Conference first team member. Bree transitioned into beach volleyball where she trained and competed in Florida and California. She has since coached for several local club programs, most recently Vegas United Volleyball Club.
