Chris Dixon
Camp Director
Chris Dixon joined the Elite Hoops Basketball staff in the fall of 2015 as Skills Development Trainer. Dixon boasts a wealth of experience working camps and clinics, having taken part in the 2017 NIKE Basketball Coaches Clinic in Las Vegas, NIKE Elite Hoops Basketball Skills Camps, and more. Coach Dixon is an USAB certified Youth Development Coach.
In 2018-2019, Coach Dixon spent a season at Francis Marion University as the assistant women’s basketball coach.
Prior to that, he worked the 2017-18 season as an Assistant Coach for the Varsity Girl's Basketball Team at Duluth High school in Duluth, GA. While at Duluth, he also served as the head coach for the junior varsity and freshman squads. The junior varsity team finished third in its region, while the freshmen were county and region champions.
He spent the 2016-17 season as a coach with the women's program at Georgia State University. Before that he spent the fall of 2015 as an Assistant Varsity Coach at Berkmar High school in Linburn, GA and the spring of 2016 as an Assistant Coach for the Region 6A Girls South team at Gwinnett County All-Star Game.
He worked as a student assistant coach at Armstrong State University from 2013 through 2015.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in sports medicine and human performance from Armstrong State University in May of 2015.
