Connor Kelly's consistent contributions throughout the 2019 season propelled Whipsnakes LC to the inaugural title and led to his selection as the first overall pick in the 2020 PLL Expansion Draft by Waterdogs. Career Notes: Scored 128 career goals - the most for a Maryland midfielder in history ... appeared in a Maryland record 76 career games ... scored 46 goals as a junior and as a senior - the most by a midfielder in Maryland history ... one of six players in NCAA history to be named to three NCAA All-Tournament teams ... totaled 10 points and seven assists against Notre Dame (3/3/18), becoming just the fourth player in Maryland history to achieve the points total and the third to achieve the assists total (both were first since 1979).

Jersey Switch: Switched numbers from "40" to "1" prior to senior season as part of Maryland's rich tradition ... becomes the seventh consecutive USILA All-American to wear the "1" jersey dating back to Andrew Whipple (1996-98) ... on wearing the "1" jersey: "Wearing number one is truly an honor. All the players that wore this number before me embodied what it meant to be a leader and represented the University and sport of lacrosse with genuine class. Being able to wear this number is a tradition much bigger than me alone, so it is a privilege to represent all who came before me in this great program."

International: One of two collegiate players who competed with the United States Men's National Training Team in preparation for the 2018 World Championships ... made it to final cuts before team was narrowed down to 23 members.
