Courtney Bernstein

Courtney Bernstein is the Head Men's and Women's Volleyball Coach and the Senior Woman Administrator at the College of Mount Saint Vincent.

Courtney Bernstein is entering her fourth season at the helm of the women's volleyball program and is beginning her fifth season as head coach of the men's team. Coach Bernstein also serves an Assistant Athletic Director, where her primary duties are to oversee facilities and operations. She is also the Senior Woman Administrator of the Athletics Department. This 2021 season, Coach Bernstein's women's volleyball team ended with an overall record of 16-12 and a conference record of 7-4. The men's volleyball season starts in January 2022.

Coach Bernstein currently sports an 18-6 Skyline Conference record with the women's team. Her tenure has been highlighted by a Skyline Conference Championship in 2018, an NCAA D-III National Tournament appearance in 2019 and a Skyline Conference semi-finals appearance in 2019.

Coach Bernstein has coaching experience both at the collegiate and high school levels. When her playing days concluded at Mount Saint Mary College - where she was on the first team All-Skyline in 2008, two-time Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week, made the 2008 Skyline Conference Honor Roll and was awarded her school's Rookie of the Year award - Coach Bernstein spent three years on the bench at her alma mater as an assistant coach. From there, she went on to serve as both a head coach and assistant coach with the Sportime Volleyball Club and the Downstate Volleyball Club. Coach Bernstein most recently worked with the junior varsity team at Kellenberg Memorial High School on Long Island, where she was the team's assistant coach for two seasons.
