Dan Moran

Dan is a certified First Tee Lead Coach and TPI certified instructor. He is a certified club fitter for Titleist, Ping, Taylormade, and Callaway. Once he received his college degree and passed the Players Ability Test (PAT), he started working with KOHR in 2018.

Dan has worked in the golf industry for over 10 years, starting out as a caddie at Wollaston Country Club, then moving over to George Wright Golf Course. There, he gained a real passion for the game and took to learning about course management and the golf swing. Dan was involved in working with players of all ages and skill levels, which has taught him how to be a well-rounded instructor.

Dan believes that there are many different ways to swing the golf club. Everyone has to own their individual swing and get the most they can out of it. He preaches strongly that the game is about being able to strategically maneuver your way around the course by playing to your strengths and creating consistent repeatable golf swings that enable you to get the ball where you want it.

"I have a deep passion for the game and a strong desire to share my knowledge and expertise with others. Witnessing my students’ progress and improvement provides me with a sense of accomplishment and pride. Coaching allows me to forge a strong connection with my students, helping them overcome challenges, refine their skills, and enjoy the game more. It’s also an opportunity for me to continuously learn and refine my own teaching methods, which is truly more rewarding than I ever could have imagined."
