Nike Junior Golf Camps is proud to offer summer camp programs in Natick, Massachusetts at KOHR Golf Practice Center! KOHR Golf is a state-of-the-art practice facility with a beautiful setting for golfers of all abilities to enjoy and work on their game. Enroll in camp today and get better this summer!

HALF DAY CAMPS

Our half day camps are open to players of all ability levels, ages 8-16, looking to improve their skills in a shortened day setting. Campers have the opportunity to receive instruction from the KOHR Golf staff and participate in competitions and games for prizes (when available).

Sassamon Trace is a junior-friendly course that allows each player to practice the skills they've learned under the watchful eye of our instruction staff. Players are dropped off and picked up at Sassamon Trace GC on Tuesday and Friday.

AM Half Day: 9:00am-12:00pm

PM Half Day 1:00pm-4:00pm

    USCB 2 time All-American golfer and golf team Captain. From there he took his talents to the professional level, playing on various mini-tours to were Jud collected 4 Wins, 13 Top 5 finishes, and 2017 Top 10 Money List on the Carolina Mountain Tour and holds 3 course records.

    Co-Director, Onsite Healthcare Dan Moran

    Dan is a certified First Tee Lead Coach and TPI certified instructor. He is a certified club fitter for Titleist, Ping, Taylormade, and Callaway. Once he received his college degree and passed the Players Ability Test (PAT), he started working with KOHR in 2018.

Camp Details

This program is designed for boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 16. The staff is on hand to provide campers with top quality instruction each day. At Nike Junior Golf Camps we accommodate all skill levels; the junior player just discovering the game, the high school player trying to move up on the team, and the tournament level junior looking to improve his or her tournament results. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.

  • Program: The All Abilities program is designed to improve the fundamental skills needed for golf; putting, chipping/pitching, full-swing and course etiquette. Upon arrival, all participants will be evaluated by the instructors and placed into groups based on age and ability level.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Instruction with focus on putting, chipping, and full swing. Tuesday and Friday course play at Sassamon Trace Golf Course
  • Lunch: Lunch is NOT included in the price of camp.
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
  • Camper Amenity Package: Campers will receive an amenity package including a Nike hat, drawstring bag, SRIXON golf balls, camp workbook, and graduation certificate.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:8 staff-to-camper ratio.
  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience.
  • Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own golf clubs, glove, golf balls, and tees.
  • Facility: KOHR Golf Center & Sassamon Trace Golf Course
  • Medical Protocol: Camp will have on-site staff to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

CHECKLIST OF THINGS TO BRING

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

  • Athletic clothing (t-shirts, shorts)
  • Golf clubs
  • Golf Balls/tees/glove
  • Golf shoes or tennis/athletic shoes
  • Collared shirt (recommended)
  • Water bottle*
  • Sunscreen**
  • Hat/visor (Campers receive Nike hat with amenity package)
  • Snacks (optional)
  • COVID PPE (as required by state/local guidelines)
  • Signed Health & Release forms and waivers (forms completed online do not need to be printed and turned in at camp)

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time. Players are dropped off and picked up at Sassamon Trace Golf Course on Tuesday and Friday for on course instruction.

HEALTH & RELEASE FORMS

All Health and Release forms must be submitted prior to May 15th or upon camp registration. The Natick Board of Health requires all health and release forms to be completed in its entirety. If you do not complete and upload your health and release forms, your child may not be admitted to camp.

GENERAL INFORMATION

You can request a copy of the camp’s written policy on staff background checks from the camp director and ask the Board of health to confirm that background checks were completed at the camp. Please note, however, that you are not authorized to review any staff person’s actual CORI or SORI report.

  • 9:00am Campers arrive, warm up, stretching, skills demonstrations by staff
  • 9:15am Rotate stations working on full swing, short game, putting

KOHR Golf Center

KOHR Golf is a state-of-the-art driving range and practice center in Natick, MA. Our hitting bays look out over our picturesque property, and invite golfers to attempt different shots to realistic target greens that simulate on-course play. Our facility includes:

Sassamon Trace Golf Course

Sassamon Trace is a nine-hole executive length golf course designed in the classic tradition with the beginning golfer in mind. Following the classic style, the natural terrain was studied and the holes were routed accordingly. The steep side slope of the landfill is utilized as a strategic element, defining the right edge of each of the Natick holes.
