Erica Brown is the head women's lacrosse coach at Roanoke College.
Erica Brown enters her fifth season as head coach of the Roanoke College women's lacrosse program in 2026-27. Since taking over the Maroons, Brown has led the program to a 49-14 record, three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, and sustained success in the ODAC.
In 2025, Roanoke earned numerous postseason honors, highlighted by All-American selections for Grace Koutouzis and Maddie McDonald. Koutouzis was also named ODAC Player of the Year, an IWLCA Senior All-Star, and an IWLCA and USA Lacrosse All-American.
Brown was named ODAC Coach of the Year in 2024 after guiding the Maroons to a 17-5 record, an NCAA Tournament third-round appearance, and the program's first undefeated home season (10-0) since the early 1990s. During her tenure at Roanoke, she has coached multiple All-Americans, All-Region, All-State, All-ODAC, and Academic All-District selections.
Prior to Roanoke, Brown spent 10 seasons as head coach at Tiffin University, compiling an 84-67 career record. She led the Dragons to eight conference tournament appearances, a GMAC regular-season championship in 2019, and earned conference Coach of the Year honors. Brown also guided Tiffin to three consecutive GLIAC Tournament Championship game appearances and coached several All-Americans and conference Players of the Year.
Before Tiffin, Brown served as head coach at Lycoming College, where she posted a 19-17 record over two seasons and coached three All-Region and nine All-Conference players.
A former standout goalkeeper at Wagner College, Brown remains among the program's career leaders in minutes played, saves, and goals-against average. She served as team co-captain and was recognized by Lax.com as one of the nation's top Division I goalkeepers.
Brown earned her bachelor's degree in Public Policy and Administration from Wagner College and has completed graduate studies in Liberal Arts at Lock Haven University. She is also certified as a lacrosse referee through the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) and USA Lacrosse.
