Gulliver Scott
Camp Director
Gulliver Scott was named head coach of the University of Portland women’s rowing team in September of 2020. Scott, who previously served as Associate Head Coach at Saint Mary’s, is the third head coach in program history and has over 20 years of coaching experience at the youth, collegiate, and masters levels.
In 2023, Scott guided the Pilots to the program's first-ever podium finish in the Varsity Eight at the West Coast Conference Championships. Two of his crews have earned Conference Boat-of-the-Month awards and eight Pilots have earned All-WCC honors the past four seasons with Scott at the helm. Scott served as the co-chair of the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association initial Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, is currently the vice-president of the Portland-Vancouver Rowing Association, and has served on the NCAA's Advisory Committee for Region 5 since 2023.
