Jack Rowlett - Camp Director

Directing camp is Jack Rowlett! Coach Rowlett joined the Georgetown men’s lacrosse program as a volunteer assistant coach in January of 2021 following a stellar collegiate playing career. He currently plays professional lacrosse with Chaos LC the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) and is a member of the United States Men’s National Lacrosse Team.

With the Hoyas, Rowlett oversees Georgetown’s faceoff unit and has guided James Reilly to beome the most prolific faceoff specialist in program history. Under Rowlett’s tutelage, Reilly set Georgetown records in career faceoffs won (693) and attempted (1,219) while currently ranking sixth all-time in faceoff percentage at .568. Reilly also set the record for faceoff wins in a game with a 26-for-30 performance against Marquette (3/6/21) and is just the second Hoya in program history to collect at least 100 ground balls in two different seasons. He went on to earn back-to-back First Team All-BIG EAST honors in 2021 and 2022 as well as All-America recognition in 2022.

As a pro, Rowlett is one of the top defensemen in the game and helped lead the Chaos to the PLL Championship in 2021. He is a two-time PLL Defensive Player of the Year Finalist and was a 2019 PLL Rookie of the Year Finalist as well. Drafted by the Chaos seventh overall in the inaugural PLL Draft, he has played his entire professional career with the club.

A Burke, Virginia native, Rowlett was a two-time USILA All-American defenseman at North Carolina. He garnered third team honors as a senior in 2019 and was an honorable mention selection as a junior in 2018 while earning All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors both seasons. Rowlett started 17 games as a freshman during the Tar Heels’ 2016 National Championship campaign and was a member of the U.S. U19 National Team that won the world title in 2016.

For his career, Rowlett played in 62 games while collecting 140 ground balls and 59 caused turnovers to go with 14 goals and a pair of assists.
