Jamaine Paddyfoot

Coach

Jamaine Paddyfoot - Coach

Jamaine Paddyfoot has been a prominent factor in football for well over 10 years and had tremendous success with developing young athletes. He spent multiple years as a high school head coach, offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator and even a college assistant coach.

Jamaine started his football career at University of Virginia at Wise as a cornerback. While at UVA Wise he started all 4 years at cornerback immediately making an impact. He was a 3 year captain and an essential part of their defense. He finished his career with 12 career interceptions which is 2nd all-time in UVA wise football history. Once graduated, he also served as an assistant, coaching defensive backs, for one season at UVA-Wise before leaving to move back to his hometown.

After UVA Wise Jamaine went on to become the defensive coordinator at Denbigh high school for 5 years. Jamaine was responsible for taking Denbigh from an 0-10 record to 8-2 and one of the top teams in the district. He went on to become the offensive coordinator for Kempsville shortly after and again had success with a struggling team. Before Jamaine’s hiring Kempsville was 0-10 and struggling offensively. Once hired, he took that 0-10 team to a 6-4 record and their first playoff appearance in 10 years and led them all the way to the Eastern Region Division 6 quarterfinals. That 6-4 team produced two Division 1aa football standouts, along with two major D-1a athletes. Paddyfoot went on to become Head Coach at Kempsville for the next 3 seasons continuing his already proven success. During his 10 seasons coaching with Denbigh and Kempsville high school, Jamaine is responsible for sending over 40 athletes to college in division 3, 2, 1aa and 1a.
