James Rippey - Assistant Camp Director

James Rippey enters his ninth year at the helm of the women's lacrosse program in 2021.

In 2013 Rippey was entrusted with the task of rebuilding the Framingham State women’s lacrosse program. Under his leadership the team has steadily improved each season and captured the program's first MASCAC Regular Season Championship in 2019. During this growth period, the team has set numerous team and individual records at Framingham State, including a school best 16-wins in 2018. The record breaking 2018 season was capped off by advancing to make the programs’ first MASCAC Championship Game Appearance.

Coach Rippey also works with the Bay State Bullets club lacrosse program based in Framingham and is active with the Bay State Games lacrosse tournament each summer.

Before joining the Framingham State staff, Rippey spent 13 seasons coaching a variety of sports at several high schools around the Boston area. A graduate of Boston College with degrees in mathematics and history, Rippey obtained a master’s degree in teaching from Northeastern University in 2012.

Coach Rippey also serves as an assistant football coach and is the Intramurals Coordinator at FSU.
