Head Shot

Coach Hunt is in his sixth season at Princeton University, where he has led the women’s cross country team to an Ivy League individual title and a top three team finish. Prior to joining Princeton, Hunt was the assistant coach for cross country and track at Wake Forest, where he had 19 student-athletes earn All-ACC honors and his cross country teams earned consecutive Dean’s Cups (’14, ’15, and ’16).

Coach Hunt was also the assistant cross country and track coach at Virginia (’05 - ’10), working alongside GMRC Director and Princeton men’s cross country coach Jason Vigilante, winning three ACC Men’s XC titles, and qualifying his women’s team to four NCAA Championship appearances.

“I am thrilled to join the historic Green Mountain Running Camp,” says Hunt. “The outstanding location in the heart of the Northeast, combined with the remarkable support of Nike Running Camps, allows GMRC to be the best end of the summer running experience for teams and individuals alike.”

Hunt started his coaching career at his alma mater Kent State (’97), graduating as a two-time Academic All-American and captain of both the cross country and track and field teams. During his five years at Kent State, Hunt coached eight individual MAC Champions.
