Jocelyn Garcia is the Women's Assistant Coach at University of San Francisco.

Originally from Denver, Colorado, Garcia joined the Dons in the spring of 2023 after serving as an assistant coach at Butler for one year under Sharon Clark. Primarily working on the team's defense during her time in Indianapolis, Garcia guided Jaymeson Kinley to her second straight Big East Libero of the Year award this past season.

Prior to her experience at Butler, Garcia spent three seasons as head coach at Division II University of Arkansas at Monticello.

As an athlete herself, Garcia was a libero/defensive specialist for four years at Concordia University in Nebraska, where she totaled 1,594 career digs. While in college, she helped her team to a national ranking as well as the program's first-ever conference final appearance and first-ever National tournament appearance. Overall, her accomplishments at Concordia included:

  • 2016 Honorable Mention All-GPAC
  • Four-Time 2016 GPAC Defensive Player of the Week
  • 2015 NAIA AVCA West Central Region Libero of the Year
  • Omaha World-Herald NAIA All-Nebraska First Team
  • 2015 NAIA Honorable Mention All-America
  • 2015 First Team All-GPAC.

Garcia now resides in San Francisco as she continues her journey on the West Coast.
