John Gillon

John Gillon is currently playing professional in the Lithuania LKL League. Prior to this, Gillon was a guard for the Erie BayHawks of the NBA G League, where he was added to the official roster in December 2018. Gillon played college basketball at University of Arkansas-Little Rock, Colorado State University, and finished his senior year at Syracuse University.

Gillion started his college career at Arkansas-Little Rock where as a freshman he averaged 10.6 points per game. In his sophomore year he transferred to Colorado State University, where under NCAA transfer rules he red shirted during his first year there. In his second season at CSU, Gillon averaged 13.2 points per game and also shot 88 percent from the free throw line.

After graduating from Colorado State, with one more year of remaining college eligibility Gillon transferred to Syracuse. While at Syracuse he led the team in assists per game with 5.4, which was also his career-best. He also set the school record for most consecutive free throws made, with 48. That also tied for the third most consecutive free throws made in ACC history. On February 22, 2017, during a game in the Carrier Dome against Duke, Gillon made a last second three pointer to win the game, with a final score of 75-78.
