John Zall

John Zall enters his fifth year on the Trinity College men's basketball staff and was promoted to associate head coach in the fall of 2019. He arrived in 2016 with over six years of coaching experience at the AAU, high school, NCAA, and NBA levels. Zall served as a member of the player development staff for the Dallas Mavericks.

Prior to his stint with the Mavericks, Zall was an assistant coach at Division II Franklin Pierce University and helped guide the Ravens to a 2013-14 NCAA Tournament Appearance. Before Franklin Pierce, Zall was the head coach for Northeastern University's club team where he led the squad to a No. 2 ranking in the Men's Club Basketball Northeast Rankings. Prior to that, he served as the associate varsity coach for John D. Bryant High School in Boston from 2010-2013, as well as the head coach for the Boston Warriors AAU team from 2010-2012.

Zall has worked and covered summer events including the Bay State Games, where he won a bronze medal as a head coach in 2012, the Boston Celtics Camp, Elite 75, Nike Camp, Hoop Mountain, Hoop Group and Five Star Basketball camp, among others. He graduated from Northeastern University in 2013 with bachelor's degree in sociology, and added a master's degree in public policy from Trinity in 2019.
