Kaliann Rikard Henke

Kaliann Rikard-Henke enters her second year coaching at Webster University. She had a great four year career as a student-athlete for the women's basketball team where she graduated in 2014.

"We couldn't be happier finding someone who knows how to win as a player but who has won as a coach as well. Kali is a winner who has great characteristics of high work ethic, loyalty, honesty, basketball iq but can relate with student athletes on and off the court which is a very powerful trait to have."

Rikard-Henke spent the last two seasons assisting at William Woods in Fulton, Mo. During her two years they made the NAIA National Tournament Quarterfinals and had two 20 win seasons.

Prior to joining the Owls Coaching Staff, Rikard played four years of basketball at Webster University. During her time with the Gorloks, Rikard was a team captain from 2012-14 and earned First Team All-Conference and All-Conference Defensive Team Honors. Webster qualified for the 2010-11 NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball National Tournament. They qualified for the SLIAC conference tournament all four years while she played.

Rikard-Henke holds multiple career and single season school records. She is the All-Time Career leader in games played with 108, 3rd in assists(301), 4th in steals(195) and 6th in made free throws(235). Rikard-Henke holds the single season school record in assists and games played. She sits in the top ten single season records for free throws, free throw percentage, steals, minutes played and games started.

"Kali is a true Gorlok in every aspect on and off the court. She was and is always "all in" for the Gorloks Women's Basketball team. Watching her hit the recruiting trail the last two years, seeing her help develop players and her passion for defense and winning, the timing lines up perfect to have her back in the Gorlok Family! We are very excited to have her here and for the upcoming season.

She graduated from Webster University with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She then graduated from William Woods with a Masters of Education in Athletics/Activities Administration.

She is married to former Gorlok Baseball player Tom Henke.
