Nike Golf Camp Marc Chandonnet

Marc Chandonnet enters his thirteenth season as the head coach of the Seattle University men's and women's golf teams in 2022-23. To date, his teams have collected 64 total WAC All-Academic Team honorees, seven Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars and twenty-four WGCA All-American Scholars, as well as a GCAA President’s Special Recognition Award and two WGCA All-Scholar Team awards.

Chandonnet came to Seattle U from Southwestern Oklahoma State where he served as the head men’s and women’s golf coach in 2011-12. He lead the men's team to the 2012 Great American Conference championship, the first conference title for the Bulldog men since 1997. The women's golf team finished in third place at the 2012 Great American Conference Tournament, the highest finish for that squad since 1998. During his stint with the Bulldogs, Chandonnet laid the groundwork, including beginning construction, for what is now the Everett Dobson Training Facility, which includes an 8,000-square foot short game practice area.

Before taking the head job at Southwestern Oklahoma State, Chandonnet was the head women's golf coach at Grand Canyon University from 2004 through 2010. He also served as associate head men's golf coach from 2007 through 2009 before becoming director of golf until September 2010, guiding the Grand Canyon men's golf team to back-to-back Pacific West Conference championships in 2009 and 2010.

Chandonnet simultaneously served as the associate athletic director for development at Grand Canyon from January 2007 through September 2010, compiling a comprehensive marketing program to help increase the athletic department's fundraising initiatives. He also provided more opportunities for alumni, staff, family, friends and organizations to become involved with the Grand Canyon athletics department.

Chandonnet was a member of the Grand Canyon University golf team for four years. He has participated in four U.S. Amateur Opens, most recently qualifying for the 2015 United States Amateur Championship. He also qualified for the same tournament in 1998 while earning qualification for the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship in 2014.

Chandonnet earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design in 2003 and his Master of Science degree in leadership in 2011 from Grand Canyon University. He resides in Maple Valley, Wash., with his wife and three children.
