CEO of Hurdle Science, a technical-based program focusing on the biomechanics of sprinting, hurdling, and strength training. We aim to find the most efficient ways to develop proper Sprint/Hurdle mechanics, event-specific strength, rhythmic IQ, and race distribution. Hurdle Science concepts, programs, techniques, and philosophy have assisted over 500+ pro athletes as well as 1,000+ elite youth/Junior athletes and numerous coaches worldwide.
A former Collegiate and Professional Hurdler, 4x Collegiate All-American at Texas Tech University, 3x West Regional Champion (110mh), Big 12 indoor Champion (60mh), and 3x Big 12 Conference outdoor Champion (110mh), becoming the only Hurdler in history to Three-peat in this event.
As the former Head Coach overseeing the Sprints and Hurdles at the Olympic Training Center in Stuttgart, Germany, he developed some of the most talented youth, Junior, and professional athletes from all over the country. Coach Odom created programs on age-appropriate training to maximize the efficiency of the event, as well as a four-year concept for transitioning athletes from Juniors to professionals.
