Nick Johnson

Nick Johnson is a Sports Performance Coach in Kansas City, Missouri. He is a former two-time state champion and college athlete. As a performance coach, he incorporates a combination of experience and winning culture into the training and development program for his athletes.
Coach Nick Johnson was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, where he attended Rockhurst High School. As a member of the football team, he contributed to two Class 6A state titles and earned honorable mention recognition as a running back. He continued his athletic career at the University of Central Missouri, helping secure two conference championships. While playing for the Mules, Nick served as a running back and a member of a nationally ranked Division II special teams unit.
During his final season, Nick transitioned into coaching as a student assistant, an experience that propelled him toward a career in the sports industry. In this role, he helped design running drills for skill-position players, focusing on agility, coordination, speed, balance, power, and acceleration.
After graduating, Nick entered high school coaching and began developing student-athletes through comprehensive strength and conditioning programs. His focus on performance training has helped numerous athletes elevate their speed, agility, and explosiveness. Nick has also guided students through the recruiting process, assisting more than 60 athletes in earning collegiate football opportunities across NCAA Divisions I, II, III, and the NAIA. In addition to working with high school athletes, he has coached collegiate and professional football players seeking to enhance their on-field performance.
Nick is currently the owner and Head Student-Athlete Development Coach at Triple Threat Sports and Fitness Kansas City. He holds certifications from ISSA and ACE as a Sports Performance Specialist. With fifteen years of experience teaching, training, and mentoring athletes, Nick remains committed to helping young competitors excel both on and off the field.
