Patrick Jolley

Head Baseball Coach

Patrick Jolley - Head Baseball Coach

Pat Jolley enters his third year the Rangers Head Coach in 2025-26. He was hired as the Assistant Baseball Coach in August of 2022 and promoted to Head Baseball Coach ahead of the 2024 season. He came to Regis after spending three years as the Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at the University of Northern Colorado; a NCAA Division I program in The Summit League.

In 2025, Jolley led the Rangers to a school record 35 wins. Regis earned the No. 2 seed in the RMAC Tournament, posting a 24-6 record in conference, which included a 34-0 win over New Mexico Highalnds, the most runs ever scored in a single game for the Rnagers. One of the most prolific offenses in NCAA DII, the team also set program records in slugging % (.607), on-base % (.465), runs scored (560), doubles (139), home runs (86), RBIs (520), and total bases (1,069). Adam Paniagua was the first Ranger to earn a National Player of the Year Award (from Perfect Game Baseball), and the second Ranger to be named First Team All-America.

In his first year as the Ranger’s Head Coach, Jolley led Regis back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2012. RU compiled 32 wins, and after earning the RMAC No. 2 seed, made it to the conference tournament Championship Game. The squad tied the school record for most games played in a season with 57, while posting all-time totals in runs scored (556), doubles (134), RBIs (500), and time hit by pitch (135).

In his first season with the Rangers in 2023, the team finished with a 31-24 overall record, which included a 13-game win streak, and made a postseason run to the RMAC Tournament championship game for the first time since 2012. The Regis lineup set the school record for runs scored in a season (517) while also ranking top-5 in program history in total hits, doubles, home runs, walks drawn, stolen bases and on-base percentage.

Jolley's second season at Regis produced another trip to the RMAC Tournament championship game. The Rangers were then selected to the NCAA Regional Tournament for the first time since 2012. A total of six players were named All-RMAC, including three on the First Team. Three would also earn All-Region honors from the NCBWA and ABCA and senior Ethan Sloan was an eighth-round draft pick of the Detroit Tigers.

Prior to his time at Northern Colorado, Jolley spent eight seasons as the Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Centenary College of Louisiana where he helped produce two freshmen Louisville Slugger All-Americans and two All-Summit League performers. He also assisted in the recruiting of future MLC pitcher Seth Lugo, who was drafted by the New York Mets in 2010.

The Gents would also notch four Southern Collegiate Conference Championships (2013, 2015, 2017 and 2018) and one NCAA West Regional during Jolley's tenure, while working with 56 players named All-Conference, 2 SCAC Players of the Year, two SCAC Pitcher of the Year awards, including 2015 MLB draftee Taylor Henry.

Jolley also boasts coaching stops at Bossier Parish Community College (2004-2010), where he helped send more than 50 players on to the Division I level and coached 10 MLB draft picks. He also served as an associate scout for the Pittsburg Pirates organization from 2008-2009.

As a player, Jolley began his career at Lassen Community College before finishing his career at Louisiana State University-Shreveport. He transferred to LSUS from Centenary College, where he was a 2003 First Team All-Independent selection as well as First Team All-Louisiana.
