Scott Pisapia

Scott Pisapia joined the Lewis & Clark Women's Basketball coaching staff in 2018. A L&C alumni, Pisapia was a consistent starter for three seasons and led the Northwest Conference in assist-to-turnover ratio as a senior. The Pioneers qualified for the NWC postseason tournament in all four of his years.

After graduating from L&C in 2012, Pisapia worked as an assistant varsity coach and head junior varsity coach at his high school alma mater, R.A. Long. There, he trained and educated his student-athletes on the fundamentals of the game, created a specially-designed weightlifting program, and cultivated practice plans and game strategies.

In 2013, Pisapia founded his non-profit company, Roots Academy, in his hometown of Longview, Washington that provides opportunities for youth through sports. In addition to his non-profit work, Pisapia is an active volunteer in the community mentoring in reading and writing, helping at homeless shelters, and working as a camp leader for Hoop Camp 4 Kids.
