Vanessa Windsor Stony Brook School

Vanessa Windsor will be on staff this summer and holds the position of Head Strength & Conditioning Coach and Head Girl’s Lacrosse Coach at the Stony Brook School in Stony Brook, NY where she off season trains all 400 student athletes and is building the first year varsity girl’s lacrosse program since 1990.

She is the Director of Stony Brook School Youth Lacrosse Clinics. A lacrosse clinic for the outside community ranging from Kindergarten to Seniors. She is also the Head Coach of Rocky Point Youth Programs First grade team which includes her daughter, Adelina Windsor (age 6), as a player.

Windsor was a five year starter at Rocky Point High School where she earned All County Honors 2 out of her 5 years playing. Held 120 career high goals and 73 assists out of 5 of those years and was named to the All-Tournament Team having won a Suffolk County Championship in 2004, 2005,and 2006.

Windsor was a career high three-year standout for Division II powerhouse Adelphi University in Garden City, N.Y., where she was a midfield-two year starter who helped the Panthers earn an Undefeated (18-0) 2009 NCAA Division II National Championship, as she played for legendary head coach Joe Spallina.

After learning from her playing experience, she finished her schooling at nearby Dowling College with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management in 2010. Windsor would then matriculate to Liberty, where she would attain her Master’s Degree of Human Service Counseling with a specialization in Health and Wellness in May of 2013.

Her coaching background includes serving as the Head Coach of the 91 Lacrosse- 11th grade team in the summer of 2009. While with 91 Lacrosse, she won over 80 percent of her games and place many players on collegiate rosters. She also helped coach clinics in Ireland with American International Sports tours in 2009 and 2010. She coached camps and clinics throughout the country between 2010 and now. Her most notable was the hiring from University of Virginia Fast Break Summer camps where she helped facilitate in years 2014-2017.

Vanessa joined the Randolph College women's lacrosse coaching staff in the summer of 2013. She assisted in recruitment coordination having helped field players for a starting program. In 2014, her second season coaching she helped assist, Alexis Waggoner, in beating the school record of most amounts of wins in season, earning NCAA All-Academic Honor Roll team five years in a row, and 5 All ODAC players during her 5 seasons as the assistant coach.

Vanessa Windsor resides in Rocky Point, NY with her husband, Neil Windsor, and two children Adelina Windsor (age 6) and Logan Windsor (age 4).
