Vanessa Windsor
Coach

Vanessa Windsor brings more than a decade of lacrosse experience, from coaching college and youth programs to being a former National Championship player.
In 2023, Vanessa Windsor volunteered as an assistant coach at West Hampton Beach Girl's Varsity, focusing on the draw team. Her efforts helped West Hampton reach the first round of playoffs and produce a school record holder in draw controls.
From 2018 to 2022, Coach Windsor held roles as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach and Head Girl's Lacrosse Coach at The Stony Brook School in Stony Brook. In 2022, she led the program to a 12-0 record, winning the school's first-ever girl's lacrosse title as the 2022 PSAA Regular Season Champions and securing the first state playoff berth. During her time at The Stony Brook School, she mentored and developed 12 ALL PSAA Players and 1 PSAA MVP Player, while training all 400 student-athletes and establishing the first varsity girl's lacrosse program since 1990.
In 2019, Coach Windsor was the Head Coach of a US Sports Nike Camp, focusing on high-level lacrosse training.
From 2014 to 2017, she organized various camps and clinics across the country, notably with the University of Virginia during the Fast Break Summer Camps.
Between 2013 and 2017, Coach Windsor served as the Assistant Coach of Randolph College Women's Lacrosse, aiding in breaking the school record for most wins in a single season and producing 5 All ODAC players during her tenure. She also played a crucial role in recruitment coordination for the women's lacrosse program.
In 2009 and 2010, she conducted coaching and playing in clinics in Ireland with American International Sports.
Coach Windsor played collegiate lacrosse at Adelphi University from 2006 to 2010, winning the Division II National Championship in 2009. Before that, she was a four year varsity all county player and two-year captain for Rocky Point Lacrosse, achieving two Suffolk County Championships in 2005 and 2006.
Coach Windsor also established LAX On Long Island when she noticed a gap in female lacrosse training options on Long Island. She saw the chance to provide consistent skill development, mindset training, and personal growth opportunities for girls beyond regular practice sessions.
In the same year, the company expanded to include Lax On Elite club teams. The main goal of Lax On Long Island is to empower female lacrosse players to reach their full potential on and off the field. During its first season, the Lax On Elite 2022 team gained national recognition, ranking in the top 40 nationally, recognized as a US Club Team of the Week, and securing 22 collegiate commitments. Notably, 98% of the team's roster went on to play college lacrosse and are actively contributing to their teams. Since 2019, Lax On Elite has assisted over 60 athletes in playing collegiate lacrosse with only one team per age group. Lax On Elite is a top 100 club lacrosse team in the nation and has shown continuous excellence from youth to high school teams.
