Improve your game and have fun with our experienced teaching professionals this summer!
Summer Full Day
Full day campers receive three hours of instruction each day with emphasis on putting, chipping, bunker play and full swing. After morning instruction and a break for lunch, campers will get to apply what they have learned out on the course (course play when available). During course play our professionals teach strategy, etiquette and course management. The Full Day Camp is designed to create complete golfers and raise their game to the next level. Full Day Camps run Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 4:00pm and are open to players of all abilities, ages 10-15. Please note: Lunch is provided for full day campers each day.
Summer Half Day 9:00am-12:00pm/1:00pm-4:00pm
This program is designed to pique the interest of new golfers while also offering intermediate golfers the instruction needed to improve. Half day campers receive three hours of instruction each day with emphasis on putting, chipping, bunker play and full swing. Campers rotate between stations and participate in drills, skills challenges, and other games. Half Day Camps run Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 4:00pm and are open to players of all abilities, ages 5-15. Please note: Lunch is NOT provided for half day campers each day.
Nike Camp Skills Challenge
The Nike Camp Challenge is an amazing opportunity for your child to put the skills they’ve learned to the test! After participating in one of the full day summer sessions, our camp director will be putting on a Skills Challenge testing the skills of select campers. The top two winners* of the skills challenge will qualify and compete in an on-course tournament that afternoon. The Skills Challenge will be a competitive event with photo opportunities (parents are welcome to attend!) and chances to win special prizes.
*Notes: Only campers who are registered for the Summer Full Day sessions and are selected at camp are eligible for the Skills Challenge.

Camp Details
This program is designed for boys and girls between the ages of 5-15 (Half Day) and 10-15 (Full Day). The staff is on hand to provide campers with top quality instruction each day. At Nike Golf Camps we accommodate all skill levels; the junior player just discovering the game, the high school player trying to move up on the team, and the tournament level junior looking to improve his or her tournament results. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.

Program: The All Abilities program is designed to improve the fundamental skills needed for golf including putting, chipping, bunker play, and full-swing. On the first day of camp, all participants will be evaluated by the instructors and placed into groups based on age and ability level in various individual, small group and full group settings.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
Instruction: Daily instruction and course play (for full day campers only)
Lunch: Lunch is included for full day campers each day.
Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
Camper Amenity Package: Campers will receive an amenity package including a Nike hat, drawstring bag, SRIXON golf balls, camp workbook, and graduation certificate.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
Ratio: 1:8 staff-to-camper ratio.
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience.
Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own golf clubs, glove, golf balls, and tees. Through Nike Golf Camps we do not provide club rentals at this camp.
Facility: Peacock Gap Golf Club
Medical Protocol: Camp will have on-site staff to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

I did not feel that this was a strong camp at all and because my son was not enjoying it, I observed part of the time on several days. I did not think the instructors seemed enthusiastic about the job, nor did I observe more than a base level of individual attention to campers. The camp struck me as dull, uninspired and the trophy that my son earned with the instructor's name on it was odd.
This is the second year in a row that we have tried the Nike Golf Camp at Peacock Gap. I was not thrilled last year, but my son was new to golf and I thought maybe that was the issue. This year, however, I was disappointed again. The level of instruction seems minimal to non-existent. While my son says he had fun, to me, it felt more like a place where you drop your kid off to keep them safe and mildly entertained for the day.
