RiverRidge Golf Complex plays host to the newest junior golf camps in Eugene, Oregon this summer. Join PGA Director, Ric Jeffries, and the dedicated staff of professionals for an unforgettable week of golf camp!
SPRING BREAK CAMP
Our spring program offers campers of all abilities the opportunity to improve every part of their game. Half day campers receive three hours of instruction with emphasis on putting, chipping, bunker play and full swing. Spring break campers will also have the opportunity to play the golf course if weather permits. These are great camps for anyone who wants to improve their game and have fun during the break. The Spring Break Camp runs from 10:00am - 2:30pm daily and is open to golfers ages 7 - 15.
FULL DAY CAMP (Summer)
Full day campers enjoy three hours of instruction each morning. Instruction focuses on all facets of the game and prepares the junior player for the challenges of the course. After lunch, it’s off to the first tee for course play. During course play our staff teaches strategy, rules/etiquette, and course management. Our Full Day Camp is designed to create complete golfers and raise their game to the next level. This program runs from 9:00am - 4:00pm daily and is open to golfers ages 9 - 16. Lunch is not provided, please pack a lunch.
HALF DAY CAMP (Summer)
This program offers campers of all abilities the opportunity to work on and improve every part of their game. Half day campers receive three hours of instruction with emphasis on putting, chipping, bunker play and full swing. From beginning players to advanced, these are great camps for anyone who wants to improve. Half Day Camp runs from 9:00am - 12:00pm daily and is open to golfers ages 7 - 13.

Camp Director Ric Jeffries
Ric is PGA director of instruction at RiverRidge Golf Complex. Ric, PGA Class A member since 1977, has an extended amount of experience in the industry encompassing nearly every aspect of the sport.View Ric Jeffries's Bio ⟩
He was the Head Women’s Golf Coach at the University of Alabama and moved to Eugene where he designed, built and now operates RiverRidge Golf Complex.
Coach Pat Church

Member of the United States Golf Teaching Federation: Certified Assoc. Instructor, 2004; Master Instructor and 2009 Special Olympics Golf Coach, Eugene/Springfield Team, 2005. She was honored to be named as the Special Olympics Golf Coach, USA Team in Athens, Greece for 2011. She is also a Level 2 Coach of The First Tee.
Pat has over 50 years of playing experience and over a decade of teaching under her belt. In that time, she has instructor college students at both the U of O and Lane Community College. Her areas of expertise include Special Needs, Private Instruction, Clinics, and Schools. She is a promoter of The First Tee Life Skills Curriculum.

Nike Camp staff members are on hand to provide campers with top quality instruction each day. We accommodate all skill levels; the junior player just discovering the game, the high school player trying to move up on the team, and the tournament level junior looking to improve his or her tournament results. A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the spring.
LUNCH NOT INCLUDED
Lunch is not included for the camp. Campers must bring their own lunch each day.
Sample Daily Schedule
- 8:50am Campers check-in at course
- 9:00am Staff demonstrations, overview of curriculum for the day
- 9:30am Group instruction - campers rotate stations working on putting, chipping, pitching, full swing
- 12:00pm Lunch (full day only), half day campers depart (lunch not included)
- 1:00pm Course play under staff supervision
- 4:00pm Campers depart
RiverRidge Golf Complex
Located in north Eugene, RiverRidge Golf Complex offers three different golf courses laid out on a portion of the Ayres Family farm, homesteaded in 1851. The Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program facility has over 120 species of trees among the more than 1200 planted since opening in 1988. The lighted and covered Driving Range includes 39 hitting spaces for year around practice. There are seven target greens to test accuracy and 1.5 acres of grass tee open Friday through Sunday during the summer season. The Short Game areas with bunker and putting greens will let you chip, pitch and putt to perfection.
