Nike Junior Golf Camps
Welcome to the Nike Junior Golf Camp in Salisbury, Maryland! Join Salisbury University's Head Men and Women Golf Coach, Dalton Deardorff, this summer at Salisbury University. Structured for players ages 10-17, this camp is an opportunity for aspiring college golfers to learn for themselves what a week of college golf is like.
Each day of camp consists of work in three primary areas: driving/full swing, short-game (chipping, pitching and bunker play) and putting. Daily instruction takes place at Salisbury University Home Golf Course – Green Hill Country Club. Other instructional topics include; course management, strategy, and rules and etiquette. Campers have the privilege of staying in dorms at Salisbury University campus.
Camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number and age, grade level, and/or gender).

Salisbury University's Head Men and Women Golf Coach Dalton Deardorff
Deardorff brings over 25 years of experience within the sport to the Sea Gull golf program. He comes to Salisbury after spending almost four years as a private instructor based out of Bishopville, Md., offering lessons to golfers of all ages and levels of skill.

Camp Details
These programs are designed for boys and girls between the ages of 10-17. The staff is on hand to provide campers with top quality instruction each day. At Nike Junior Golf Camps we accommodate all skill levels; the junior player just discovering the game, the high school player trying to move up on the team, and the tournament level junior looking to improve his or her tournament results. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.

2025 OVERVIEW

- Overnight: Sunday-Wednesday
- Extended Day: Sunday-Wednesday
- Sunday: 10:00am-9:00pm
- Monday-Tuesday: 9:00am-9:00pm
- Wednesday: 9:00am-3:00pm
- Other than the first and last day of camp, Extended Day campers arrive at 9:00am and depart at 9:00pm. This program includes all golf activities, lunch, dinner and evening activities. A complete schedule will be given out during check-in.
- Please follow on-campus directional signage to “Golf Camp.” The first golf session takes place after check-in.
- Check-In: Registration occurs on Sunday from 10:00am-11:00am at Wicomico Hall on campus for all campers (Overnight and Extended Day). During camp, all campers will be living in the Wicomico Hall on campus at Salisbury University.
- Check-Out: Camp graduation will be at the Salisbury University Home Golf Course @ Green Hill Country Club course on Wednesday. Parents are encouraged to attend! Check out from Wicomico Hall will follow at 2:00pm.
- Meals: Overnight campers will receive all meals during camp (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Extended Day campers will be provided lunch and dinner.
- Program: The All Abilities program is designed to improve the fundamental skills needed for golf including putting, chipping, bunker play, and full-swing. On the first day of camp, all participants will be evaluated by the instructors and placed into groups based on age and ability level in various individual, small group and full group settings.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Morning instruction and afternoon course play.
- Meals: Overnight campers will receive all meals during camp (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Extended Day campers will be provided lunch and dinner.
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
- Camper Amenity Package: Campers will receive an amenity package including a Nike hat, drawstring bag, SRIXON golf balls, camp workbook, and graduation certificate.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:8 staff-to-camper ratio.
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience.
- Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own golf clubs, glove, golf balls, and tees.
- Facility: Green Hill Country Club
- Medical Protocol: Camp will have on-site staff to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
- Housing:
- Dorm: Wicomico Hall
- Campers Per Room: Campers will be housed in double rooms.
- Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be received no later than 14 days before the start of camp. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
- Linens: Linens will not be provided. Please bring linens for an XL Twin.
- Air Conditioning: A/C will be provided M-F from 5:00pm to 7:00am, and throughout the weekend.
- Key Deposit: Lost and or damaged meal/housing cards are $25 each. The cost of a lost Master Card is $75. Please bring a check for each key deposit made payable to “US Sports Camps”. Check will be returned after the key card is turned in on the last day of camp.
- Spending Money: We recommend that each overnight camper bring $60-75 per week of spending money to cover incidentals like snacks, souvenirs and other activities. Please bring cash in a marked envelope for your child.
*Staff members reside in campers’ quarters and participate in all activities.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
