The Ridge Golf Club
Originally known as West Ridge Golf Club, The Ridge opened in May of 1991 to glorious reviews. Construction of the Mountain View Corridor, a UDOT project, required land which was home to 5 of our holes on the Back 9. Not wanting to piece together a golf course that did not fit with the remaining 13 holes, an agreement was made with the state to construct a new course.
The Gene Bates Design Group was brought in to design a new 18 Hole course that would truly cater to players of all abilities. Gene Bates is a renowned architect and his portfolio includes Old Mill, Riverbend, and Soldier Hollow in Midway, which hosted the United States Golf Association's Public Links Championship in July of 2012. Now, golfers enjoy some of the most sought after public tee times in the Salt Lake City Area.
