2026 Camp Dates Now Live!!

Join us this summer at the Nike Girls Lacrosse Camp at Adrian College and elevate your game to the next level! Head Coach, Amanda Asher, has created a curriculum that will develop your skills and understanding of the game using both drills and game play scenarios. Each session will involve skill work, concept work and competition play.

Campers train each day at Docking Stadium which is entering its 8th year of existence on the campus of Adrian College. Come see why this campus provides a perfect setting for a Nike Lacrosse Camp with its first class facilities, comfortable dorms and campus-dining hall.

    Camp Director

    Asher has coached lacrosse for over 10 years at the collegiate and high school level. Coach Asher serves as the ninth head coach in Adrian women's lacrosse program history.

    She attended Adrian College in the spring and fall of 2008 where she played lacrosse. She then attended Central Michigan University and played three seasons of club lacrosse and was the captain of her junior and senior seasons. She graduated with a degree in Recreation, Parks, and Leisure Services Administration with a concentration in Commercial Recreation and Facility Management.

    Asher began her career as an assistant coach at Albion College before heading to the Metro Detroit area where she was the head coach of the Michigan Wave Club Lacrosse team. After her time at the Michigan Wave Club, Asher took on the head position for the Northville High School Varsity Girls Lacrosse team. During her time, she compiled a 31-5 record in two seasons and led her team to clinch the first Kensington Conference championship in school history. After her two seasons at Northville, she pursued Concordia University Ann Arbor where she served as the head women's lacrosse coach. In 2021, she led an undefeated squad to win the WHAC conference championship.

    Adrian College Athletics is proud to announce the addition of Alana Mortimer as the new assistant coach for the women's lacrosse program.

    Mortimer joins Head Coach Amanda Asher's staff with a strong background as both a player and coach. A standout student-athlete at Concordia University Ann Arbor, she was a four-year member of the women's lacrosse team and served as team captain. As a dominant force on defense, she earned First-Team All-Conference honors in her senior season. In addition to her success on the lacrosse field, Mortimer was also a member of the women's ice hockey team during her time at Concordia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, complemented by double minors in Coaching and Human Resource Management.

    After college, Mortimer spent a year coaching at Livonia Stevenson High School, where she played a key role in developing young talent and instilling a strong foundation in the sport. A native of Toronto, Ontario, she brings a deep passion for the game, strong leadership qualities, and a commitment to excellence to the Bulldogs' program.

    Mortimer will begin her journey at Adrian College immediately, joining Head Coach Amanda Asher and the women's lacrosse program as they prepare for the upcoming season.

You can expect a high demand on these first-come-first-serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early. This summer, Adrian College is offering one session of overnight with a commuter (Extended Day Camp 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM) option available for girls ages 10-17 (youth players to rising seniors).

2026 OVERVIEW

  • Dates: July 22-24
  • Age Group: 10-17
  • Gender: Girls
  • Camp Type: Overnight, Extended Day (commuter)
  • Check-in: All campers check-in on Wednesday, July 22nd at Lowry Hall (No lunch on first day). Overnight Campers check-in between 2:00-3:00pm. Extended Day Campers check in between 2:30-3:00pm
  • Check-out: The last field session will take place from 10:00am-12:00pm on Friday, July 25th with camp check-out between 12:30-1:30pm. Exact time and location of the camp closing ceremony will be confirmed by the camp director on the first day of camp. Overnight campers check-out from the dorms.
  • Extended Day Schedule: WED 3pm-9pm, THU 9am-9pm, FRI 9am-12pm **Times subject to change
  • Meals: All meals are provided for Overnight campers. Lunch and dinner are provided for all Extended Day (commuter) campers.
  • Program: The Advanced Skills program is designed to provide campers the fundamental skills, position specific training and in-game tactical knowledge needed to enhance your game.

DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE

  • Team Discount: If five or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. After all team members have successfully registered, contact us to receive a $25 refund per camper.

CAMP CHECK-IN

Wednesday, July 22nd

  • Check-in takes place between 2:00-3:00pm at Lowry Hall.
  • There will be a camp orientation meeting for players and parents at 3:00pm. A detailed schedule for the week will be provided at that time.

CAMP CHECK-OUT

Friday, July 24th

  • There will be a closing ceremony at the field at 12:30pm. Extended Day Campers check-out from Docking Stadium - Directions. Overnight Campers check-out from the dorm immediately following.

2026 HOUSING

  • Dorm: Lowry Hall
  • Number of Campers Per Room: 2 per room
  • Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual and received no later than 14 days before the start of camp. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
  • Bathrooms: Shared
  • Linens: Not included. Bring linens or sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel.
  • Air Conditioning: NO A/C - Please bring a portable fan

SUPERVISION
The staff reside in the dormitories with the campers and participate in all activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Morning, afternoon, and evening training sessions
  • Overnight campers: Dormitory housing on campus and all meals are provided.
  • Extended Day campers: Dinner provided on Thursday; Lunch and dinner is Friday.
  • Supervision: Staff members reside in campers’ quarters and participate in all activities.
  • Reversible Jersey & Prizes: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Lacrosse reversible jersey and prizes.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience per the director's discretion.
  • Equipment Needed: Please bring your cleats, protective goggles & mouthpiece, lacrosse stick(s), helmet and pads (Goalies). For lost or forgotten mouthguards we will have them available for purchase for $5.
  • Facility: Adrian College Athletic Fields
  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

EXTENDED DAY CAMPERS

Checklist of Things to Bring: We recommend that all Extended Day Campers bring a daily pack with the following items: Along with your lacrosse equipment, we recommend that you bring a day pack with the following items: water bottle, weather appropriate clothing, cleats, and walking shoes.

Camp Schedule & Meals:

  • Wednesday: Extended Day Campers should arrive dressed and ready to play. There will be a camp orientation meeting for players and parents at 3:00pm. You will be assigned a counselor and given a complete schedule of all events during the week. Extended Day Campers stay until 9:00pm.
  • Thursday: Extended Day Camper Hours - 9:00am-9:00pm. Lunch and dinner is provided.
  • Friday: Extended Day Camper Hours - 9:00am-12:00pm. Check-out is immediately after the camp concludes at noon. Departure time may change depending on the event.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
