Nike Baseball Camps Announces New Camp in Albany, New York

Nike Baseball Camps, a part of US Sports Camps, the largest provider of sports camps in the world, is thrilled to announce the addition of a new Albany Baseball Camp. University at Albany’s Associate Head Coach Jeff Kaier, accompanied by fellow staff members, will be leading the Nike Baseball Camp at Boght Baseball Complex

Jeff Kaier boasts a stellar coaching resume and has helped to build Albany’s program into one of the best in the American East Conference. In 2019, Kaier's efforts saw the Great Danes earn the most wins since 2007 with 28, and led the America East in offense with a .285 average. UAlbany broke the school record for fielding percentage (.973) and earned 10 All-Conference accolades. Kaier was part of the staff that was tabbed Coaching Staff of the Year, and earned the team's first postseason bye in program history.

“This summer Nike Baseball Camps will be teaming up with Coach Kaier and his staff to offer an amazing baseball camp to ballplayers across the region. Campers will get the opportunity to fine-tune their game under the guidance of D1 coaches and players. This session will start August 9th and run through the 12th and will offer both Day (9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.) and Half Day (9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) and Extended Day (8:00 a.m-5:00 p.m.) camps. Nike Baseball Camps provide focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement for all skill levels. Every facet of the game is covered with an emphasis on fundamentals to help players become valuable team members.
