Nike Baseball Camps Announces New Camp in North Surprise, Arizona

Nike Baseball Camps, a part of US Sports Camps, the largest provider of sports camps in the world, is thrilled to announce the addition of a new Surprise Arizona Baseball Camp. Ottawa University Head Coach Tim Montez, accompanied by fellow staff members, will be leading the Nike Baseball Camp at Ottawa University - Arizona

In his first season, Coach Montez led the baseball program to the NCCAA World Series in Easley, S,C. Now in his third year, Coach Montez has started a Developmental Program (Fall 2019) and this season (2020) the Varsity Program will be eligible to participate in the GSAC Conference Tournament for the first time. A graduate from St. Paul High School (Sante Fe Springs, Calif.) (1979), Coach Montez also played & graduated from Pepperdine University (Malibu, Calif.) (1984) and has 33 years of Coaching Experience. 25 of those years in Division I Baseball.

“This summer Nike Baseball Camps will be teaming up with Coach Montez and his staff to offer an amazing baseball camp to ballplayers across the region. Campers will get the opportunity to fine-tune their game under the guidance of college coaches and players. This session will start June 21st and run through the 24th and will offer General Skills camp for ages 7-13 and Advanced skills Camp for players 14-18. Nike Baseball Camps provide focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement for all skill levels. Every facet of the game is covered with an emphasis on fundamentals to help players become valuable team members.
