Nike Baseball Camps Announces New Camp in Boise, Idaho
Nike Baseball Camps, a part of US Sports Camps, the largest provider of sports camps in the world, is thrilled to announce the addition of a new Boise, Idaho Baseball Camp. Capital High School Head Coach Jake Chandler, accompanied by fellow staff members, will be leading the Nike Baseball Camp at Capital High School
In his first year at Capital High School, Coach Chandler guided his team to a 2nd place finish in the 2019 State Tournament and 4th place in the 2019 Idaho State Legion Tournament. That incredible run included 6 straight wins while facing elimination. During that season, Chandler’s team batted .320 as a team and had had an on base percentage of .420. In just three years at Capital, Coach Chandler has sent 15 players on to compete at the collegiate level. Prior to Capital, Chandler has had successful coaching stints at Vallivue High School and Meridian High School.
“This summer Nike Baseball Camps will be teaming up with Coach Chandler and his staff to offer an amazing baseball camp to ballplayers across the region. Campers will get the opportunity to fine-tune their game under the guidance of a very successful staff. Sessions will be held July 5-8 and July 12-15, 2021 and will offer General Skills Camps for ages 5-15. Nike Baseball Camps provide focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement for all skill levels. Every facet of the game is covered with an emphasis on fundamentals to help players become valuable team members.
