Nike Baseball Camps Announces New Camp in Vero Beach, Florida
Nike Baseball Camps, a part of US Sports Camps, the largest provider of sports camps in the world, is thrilled to announce the addition of a new Florida baseball camp at Jackie Robinson Training Complex. Montreat College’s Associate Athletic Director, Jason Beck, accompanied by fellow staff members, will be leading the Nike Baseball Camp at Jackie Robinson Training Complex.
Coach Beck was named Head Baseball Coach at Montreat College in 2016. Beck has had a noteworthy career as a head baseball coach, accumulating over 700 wins in the past 22 years in the NCAA, NAIA, NCAA D-II. Over the span of his career, 16 of his players have signed MLB contracts. Within 2 years at Montreat, Coach Beck took his team to the playoffs for the first time since 2009 and produced their first MLB draft pick since 2002.
As a head college coach, Beck has some advice for players on college baseball recruitment, “Find a school or coach that matches YOUR style. Don’t settle! Start your research early, have a good number of reach schools, first-choice schools and safety schools. This will give you more options, allowing you to be able to contribute and make an impact on your new team.”

This session will start on June 27th and run through July 1st. Offerings include general skills camp for ages 8-13 (Co-Ed), and ages 14-17 (boys). Nike Baseball Camps provide focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement for all skill levels. Every facet of the game is covered with an emphasis on fundamentals to help players become valuable team members.
