Nike Baseball Camps Launches New Camp In Santa Barbara, CA
Nike Baseball Camps, a part of US Sports Camps, the largest provider of sports camps in the world, is thrilled to announce the addition of a new California Baseball Camp at San Marcos High School. Directing camp is former MLB player, Tom Myers, and San Marcos High School Head Baseball Coach, Wes Ghan-Gibson, will lead instruction for Nike Baseball Camp at San Marcos High School.
Tom Myers is an area scout for the Chicago Cubs. Myers logged 5 seasons playing in the MLB after being drafted by the Oakland Athletics in 1991. In addition, Myers has many years of experience as a head and an assistant baseball coach at various levels.
Coach Ghan-Gibson was named Head Coach for San Marcos High School in September 2020, after spending the previous season as Head Coach for the San Marcos JV program.

Players of all abilities are welcome to join us to focus the fundamentals of baseball to become an overall better player. There will be multiple sessions offered this summer starting in June and running through August. We offer a General Skills camp for ages 9-13, as well as a High School Baseball camp for ages 14-17. Nike Baseball Camps provide focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement for all skill levels. Every facet of the game is covered with an emphasis on fundamentals to help players become valuable team members.
